I had the pleasure and privilege to work with John on our most recent quarterly management meeting training session. The Workspace-as-a-Service industry is going through rapid changes, and part of my challenge is to adapt our staff and facilities to accommodate more collaboration and community in our environments. After consulting with John he put together a 3 hour training session for our managers that was simply incredible. A very well prepared, researched and delivered interactive presentation on community building. John took the extra time to do industry specific preparation, making this session extremely valuable to our team. If you have a training, or project that requires a strong business mind that brings in outside ideas I highly recommend John. No one will be more researched, prepared or interact better with people than John Kamp.
Before working with John, I had never even heard of Lean Six Sigma, and certainly couldn't imagine how it might help me identify lapses or even opportunities in my business. By simply mapping all (and I truly mean "all") of our processes, I see that over the years we've wasted both materials and time. My on-going determination to eliminate those wastes provides for a more streamlined and effective process in my business. We've been able to drastically improve not only the quality of our goods, but also the day-to-day running of our business. Lean process engineering has taught me that always having my finger on the pulse of, as John likes to put it, "the systems and procedures," is essential to continually improving the way we do business.
